Alavés addressed the complaints raised by some fans during the 2025-2026 season about the large number of visiting fans outside the designated area in certain matches, such as the derbies against Athletic and Real Sociedad and the match against Oviedo. In these matches, the visiting fans' attendance was notable, exceeding the number of tickets sold. 'It's a very important issue that we dedicate a lot of time to', said Alberto Fernández Canelo, the club's business director. The seating capacity reaches 19,591, once the space for workers is discounted from the total capacity of 19,898; with this, the club aims to promote a policy based on advantages for Vitorian fans that will boost their presence and that of people who are not season ticket holders but are fans of the team. 'There are seats bought by people from Álava who are identified with the opposing team's jersey. We are concerned. We analyzed that and have implemented different options during the year: exclusive pre-sale for season ticket holders, exclusive promotions for season ticket holders, promotions for complete families', he added about the possible formulas that will help to dye the stands blue and white in those matches. What is not on the table, due to technical reasons, is blocking the sale of tickets to foreign fans. The goal is 'to try to get all the people here to be Alavés fans'. There is a youth base, as 44.8% of season ticket holders are under 30 years old. People between 15 and 19 represent 14.5% of total season ticket holders and the female audience is already 22% of the youngest categories.
