Deportivo Alavés has officially announced the signing of Nicolás Valentini, a 25-year-old left-back from Argentina who joins from Fiorentina and will sign until June 30, 2029. The club albiazul did not disclose the exact cost of the operation, although Italian press estimates it at around 2.5 million euros. La Nazione reports this amount, while other Fiorentina-related media suggest a range between two and three million.
Valentini, a left-back standing 1.87 meters tall, was formed in Boca Juniors, with whom he won the Supercopa Argentina in 2023 and reached the Copa Libertadores final. In January 2025, he arrived at Fiorentina free of charge, making his sale practically a capital gain for the Viola team. He did not play official matches for Fiorentina and gained experience through two loans to Hellas Verona.
The defender is already in Vitoria and will join pre-season training under Quique Sánchez Flores this Saturday.
